Lu Yang was born in 1984 in Shanghai. She graduated from Master of Arts New Media Art department, China Academy of Art in 2010. Being one of the most talented and blowing mind young media artists in China, Lu Yang has exhibited in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan, Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, America..
In her work, Lu Yang mixes science, bio-art with pop culture, religion and goes deep in identity issues, such as sexual orientation, genetics, reproduction, and problems with evolution.
