Nguyen Minh Phuoc was born in 1973, in Hanoi where he continues to live and work. From 2003 – 2008, Phuoc started RYLLEGA, a contemporary experimental art space in Hanoi. RYLLEGA activities now operate on a project-by-project basis between Berlin and Hanoi.​​
