Nha San Collective - Le Huy Hoang

Le Huy Hoang he has graduated from Hanoi Fine Art University in 2004. Hoang is half Vietnamese and Cambodian.  through his art  works, he reflects his unpleasant memories of the war, his painful background and special life experience. He served as combat soldiers in battlefield Cambodia. Le Huy Hoang spent extended time in prison camp in Thailand, where he first learnt about art and drawing. Hoang's works express individual identity and the story surrounding his life. Hoang passed away in 2014 art.
